Pension funds, sovereign wealth funds and family offices are investing billions in new projects.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a51c196817bb23e7df788e1b200d3090\">The major sovereign wealth funds (such as the Public Investment Fund in Saudi Arabia or Mubadala in Abu Dhabi) are massively driving forward investments in future technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-07ae40909d881c2e181f30fa3081e236\">Private markets such as venture capital and private debt are developing into important instruments for financing start-ups, green tech and digitisation projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-265cc292198abbdc574e530aa2fe1cf4\">For German investors, the opportunity arises to gain access to exceptionally large projects via co-investments with regional funds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-750ec68636fe60c2d7f6faa245a7bda5\">Challenges lie in the sometimes low transparency and the exit markets that are still under development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><br\/>The GCC is becoming a global hotspot for alternative investments.
